Nine has locked in exclusive Australian rights to broadcast and stream the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, continuing its push as the nation’s official Paralympic Network.

The deal, announced today with the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, includes free and paid audio-visual rights and non-exclusive audio rights, with coverage set to run across the 9Network, 9Now, and Stan Sport from 6–15 March 2026.

It follows Nine’s record-breaking coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympics, which drew more than 10 million Australian viewers. As part of the agreement, Nine will also deliver cross-platform coverage through its talk radio stations 2GB, 3AW, 6PR and 4BC, and publish key moments across The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, WAtoday and the AFR.

Nine CEO Matt Stanton said the partnership builds on the momentum of Paris 2024. “Australian audiences will be able to immerse themselves, whenever and wherever, in all the action and the incredible stories of these amazing athletes,” he said.

Milano Cortina 2026 marks 50 years since the first Paralympic Winter Games, with up to 665 athletes from 50 countries expected to compete in 79 medal events across six sports.

Andrea Varnier, CEO of Milano Cortina 2026, welcomed the continued partnership. “Australian fans will have the chance to follow every moment of this global celebration of high-performance winter sport and passion.”

Cameron Murray, CEO of Paralympics Australia, added Paralympic stories strike at the heart of the human condition. "To have Nine’s brilliant storytellers bringing the action to Australians... is a wonderful outcome.”

Coverage of the Games will span Nine’s full digital, TV and radio ecosystem, ensuring viewers can tune in live or on demand across platforms and devices.
