BRANDTHINK has added three new accounts to its portfolio, with appointments from Murad Malaysia, Thermos Malaysia, and Ricoh Malaysia.

For Murad Malaysia, the agency has been tasked with managing the skincare brand’s social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. The retainer appointment, covering the Malaysian market, began in July 2025.

The agency’s remit includes developing and executing Murad’s social media strategy, creating platform-tailored content, managing community engagement, and supporting campaigns and product launches with strategic integration. The work will also involve tracking and analysing performance to optimise content effectiveness.

The focus for Murad is to carve out a stronger social presence in a competitive skincare landscape influenced by global trends, clean beauty demand, and local competition. BRANDTHINK said it aims to tell clear, relatable stories on TikTok and Instagram, strengthen trust through authentic product education, and grow a community that views Murad as a brand that understands their skincare journey.

Meanwhile, Thermos Malaysia has appointed BRANDTHINK as its brand and digital agency. The collaboration, which began in August 2025, signals a refreshed direction for the household name, targeting younger consumers who see bottles as both lifestyle and self-expression.

The agency will also oversee brand campaigns and digital activities, with a focus on updating Thermos’ storytelling to connect more deeply with modern audiences. From bold campaigns to revitalised social presence, the aim is to reintroduce Thermos with a contemporary edge while maintaining its heritage of quality and durability.

Ricoh Malaysia has also engaged BRANDTHINK as its social media agency to bolster its presence on LinkedIn and Facebook. Work began in June 2025, centering on thought leadership, storytelling, and consistent brand engagement. Beyond its print solutions, Ricoh is expanding into hybrid workplaces, workflow and automation, cloud and IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity services.

An agency spokesperson said that its role is to position Ricoh as a credible voice among business leaders and decision-makers, highlighting the brand’s evolution into a forward-looking partner in workplace innovation.

In other recent agency appointment activities, Proton has picked Naga DDB Tribal as its new creative agency, while Prudential, URMunchy's and Ayam Brand extended their ties with the firm.

Earlier in April, Kia selected Sticky Rice, under Trapper Group, as its new social media agency for APAC, and Emborg has also picked the agency to manage its social media across the ASEAN region.
