MoneyBack launches JoyClub exclusive perks for silver generation
share on
AS Watson's loyalty programme MoneyBack has tapped local actress Louise Lee Sze Kee (pictured) to promote its new membership tier JoyClub (樂賞會), designed exclusively for the silver generation and integrated with the JoyYou Card.
By linking their JoyYou Card to their MoneyBack account, members can join the tier and unlock instant discounts at designated partner merchants.
To engage the silver generation, Lee was appointed as JoyClub's brand ambassador. Having reinvented herself as a food influencer in recent years, Lee is beloved by netizens for her warm and relatable image. A video starring Lee has been launched on Instagram promoting JoyClub, where she guides elderly users through joining and saving on discounts at AS Watson's brands, including ParknShop, Fortress, and Watsons.
Under the new programme, shoppers will see Lee's face on self-checkout screens when they pay. At the launch event, Lee demonstrated how to link a MoneyBack account with a JoyYou Card. Once linked, members can enjoy surprise perks anytime, anywhere, including welcome gifts; a HK$2 daily discount at ParknShop and Watsons by simply tapping their card; extra deals on "JoyClub Wednesdays"; and exclusive offers from multiple partner merchants.
From 8 May, MoneyBack members who link their JoyYou Card and join JoyClub at any ParknShop, Watsons or FORTRESS store will receive a free welcome gift — either ParknShop's SELECT oats or Watsons mini paper handkerchiefs. Plus, every Wednesday, members paying with their linked card enjoy extra discounts on selected house brands at ParknShop, Watsons, FORTRESS, and Watsons Wine Cellar.
Further tapping into the target audience, MoneyBack has also partnered with brands including Octopus Cards, Cafe de Coral, Ten Ren Tea, Jumpin Gym U.S.A., and Geely Auto Group to offer JoyClub members a range of exclusive discounts.
Beyond senior perks, MoneyBack is partnering with over 200 brands across 10 categories-dining, travel, fashion, telecoms, and more. The upgraded app features five new functions, including quick search, nearby offer locator, and auto top-up to the wallet, making it easier to find deals and earn rewards. MoneyBack has also launched the "區區友里賞" initiative, allowing small local shops across Hong Kong's 18 districts to join for free and help boost community spending.
