The Agency of the Year 2022 saw a new champion in Merkle, as it was crowned “Overall Agency of the Year”, at a physical dinner gala at Shangri-La Singapore. The agency not only swept the floor with six gold trophies in six categories (Analytics Agency of the Year, B2B Agency of the Year, Consultant of the Year, CRM & Loyalty Marketing Agency of the Year, Programmatic Agency of the Year, Search Marketing Agency of the Year), it also won one silver trophy under MarTech Agency of the Year.

The drive and perseverance of the agency, as it continues to rise to new challenges, wowed out judges and we wish the a heartfelt congratulations. Placing second at MARKETING-INTERACTIVE’s 15th edition of the Agency of the Year Awards was DDB Group Singapore with four gold, one silver and one bronze trophies. Its achievements and efforts were seen in highly competitive categories, such as Content Marketing Agency of the Year, Full Service Agency of the Year, Integrated Marketing Agency of the Year, and Social Media Marketing Agency of the Year.
Meanwhile, four time incumbents TBWA\ Singapore put up an outstanding fight coming in in third this year, with two golds, one silver and two bronze awards.
There 2022 agency of the year awards also saw a lot of local talent on display. Standing out from the crowd with three local hero trophies, one gold and one silver, was OOm. Other notable agencies included Antics@play, which claimed local hero awards in three categories, while Milieu Insight and Eventions Group Picked up two local hero trophies in addition their gold and bronze/silver awards respectively.

With 22 judges partaking in the judging process this year, we saw senior client marketers from companies such as Abbott, BSH Home Appliances, Citibank, City Energy, DBS, FairPrice Group, FrieslandCampina Singapore, Little Farms, MSIG Asia, RBI, Select Group, Skechers Singapore and more, taking the time to independently review and score every entry to confirm the shortlist and winners.

Moreover, two new competitive categories were implemented this year, such as eCommerce Marketing Agency of the Year and MarTech Agency of the Year, bringing the total number of enterable categories to 32. Other outstanding efforts this year included M&C Saatchi Performance, Ogilvy Singapore, MRM, Superunion Brand Consulting, XGATE and more.
