The finalists for the Marketing Excellence Awards Philippines 2026 have been unveiled, recognising the brands and agencies behind the country's most ambitious, effective and influential marketing campaigns.
From bold creative ideas to breakthrough data-driven strategies, this year's shortlist celebrates work that not only captured attention and sparked conversations, but also delivered measurable business impact. Together, the finalists showcase the ingenuity, resilience and strategic thinking shaping the future of marketing in the Philippines.
Reflecting the industry's continued evolution, this year's awards programme introduces three new categories: ‘Excellence in Cultural Storytelling’, ‘Excellence in Financial Empowerment Marketing’, and ‘Excellence in Predictive & Personalised Marketing’. With 46 categories in total, finalists will compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze honours, as well as the coveted ‘Marketer of the Year’ title.
The entries were assessed by an esteemed panel of 19 senior marketing leaders from organisations including Clark International Airport, Decathlon Philippines, METROBANK, Goldilocks Bakeshop and Nestlé Philippines, among others. Drawing on their extensive industry expertise, the judges identified campaigns that exemplify excellence in creativity, strategic thinking, innovation and measurable results.
Maria Carmela "Mea" Gabunada, vice president and head of Consumer Marketplace Insights and Analytics at Nestlé Philippines, highlighted how this year's entries reflected a deeper understanding of the Filipino consumer.
"The strongest campaigns shared one common thread: an unwavering focus on the Filipino consumer. Beyond creativity and innovation, what stood out was how brands found modern and distinctly relevant ways to delight consumers by solving real needs and creating meaningful connections in moments that matter. It is a reminder that when consumer understanding sits at the heart of the work, marketing becomes impactful and inspiring," she said.
Meanwhile, Danielle Eleazar, head of Brand Marketing at Goldilocks Bakeshop, pointed to another defining quality of this year's strongest campaigns: their ability to translate bold ideas into tangible business results.
"While creativity and execution are always expected, what genuinely impressed me was seeing brands transform businesses, overtake category leaders and grow key metrics through meaningful brand improvement. As much as I was there to evaluate the entries, I found myself learning from them just as much," Eleazar shared.
Adding to these reflections, Aries John Pineda, head of Consumer Growth at METROBANK (Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company), praised the exceptional standard of submissions and the passion demonstrated across this year's entries.
"Congratulations to all entrants and finalists. It was a privilege to review so many outstanding campaigns and initiatives that demonstrated innovation, effectiveness, sustainability and passion for the craft. Thank you for sharing your work and helping elevate the marketing industry. Well done to everyone involved," said Pineda.
