At their meeting, MCMC presented various trends and challenges faced by the communication and digital sectors, in addition to monitoring of cybercrimes, infrastructure improvements, and the advancement of technology and innovation.

The visit was helmed by Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, chairman of MCMC and saw the attendance of other MCMC officials.

In its statement, MCMC expressed its appreciation to Mohamad Fauzi for his dedication and support to MCMC's efforts in carrying out the mandate of Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Launching in August this year, NIMP2030 aims to complement the New Investment Policy (NIP) through the identification of five sectors that play a role in enhancing the complexity of future exports.

The sectors include aerospace, chemicals/ petrochemicals, digital economy, E&E (including medical devices) and pharmaceuticals.
