Marina Bay Sands picks new VP of destination marketing

Marina Bay Sands has appointed Jon Tjin Kee as vice president of destination marketing, with Kee announcing the move on LinkedIn.
Kee joins from The Walt Disney Company, where he was director of central marketing solutions from 2017 to 2023. In that role, he led partnerships, corporate brand and franchise marketing, central creative and central digital.
Before moving to The Walt Disney Company, he was regional agency partner at Facebook Southeast Asian and was part of the tech company’s early team in Asia. He held the role from 2014 to 2017.

During his time at Facebook, Kee developed and implemented agency strategic partnerships, built relationships with key media agency holding groups and helped demonstrate the value of Facebook’s products to the market. He also worked on industry events and roundtables, and collaborated with regional leadership on the set-up of Facebook’s Malaysia office.
Kee joined Facebook from Yahoo, where he held dual roles as country head for Malaysia and sales director for Singapore and Malaysia. He was with Yahoo from 2011 to 2014, building strategic partnerships with clients, agencies and industry groups, while representing the company at industry events.
