Manulife Philippines names new CMO to steer brand and AI-led growth

Manulife Philippines has appointed Joy Ann Concepcion (pictured) as its new chief marketing officer, effective 27 April 2026, as the insurer sharpens its focus on brand strength, customer experience and AI-driven growth.

Concepcion joins the executive committee and will oversee a wide-ranging remit that brings together brand and advertising, content and social media, performance marketing, propositions, digital platforms, AI and growth marketing, customer experience, digital transformation, and corporate social responsibility.

“I’m honoured to take on this role and to build on the strong momentum the team has created over the past years,” said Concepcion. “Working closely with our partners across the business, my focus is to sharpen how we deliver for our customers – strengthening the power of our brand, simplifying customer experiences, and turning our marketing priorities into real impact and meaningful growth – so we can better serve Filipinos with the protection, health, and wealth solutions they need.”

Concepcion has been with Manulife Philippines since 2017, holding multiple leadership roles within the marketing organisation. During her tenure, she has contributed to strengthening the company’s brand presence, delivering commercial impact, and building high-performing teams anchored on a growth mindset.
