
Malaysian badminton player Lee Zii Jia lights up NY Times Square's digital billboard

Malaysian badminton player, Lee Zii jia has made his mark in New York’s Times Square as part of badminton brand, Victor Malaysia's 55th anniversary. Victor, Lee’s official sponsor, took to Facebook to state that “the staging in Times Square signifies more than just the 55th anniversary of the brand; it is also intended to promote the sport of badminton worldwide.”
According to a statement to the press, Victor has long been an integral part of the badminton industry. It not only sponsors and supports outstanding players, but it is also the official partner of the BWF World Badminton Federation (BWF), the Danish National Badminton Team, and Badminton Oceania (BO).
According to media reports, Lee is the first Malaysian badminton player to be featured on Times Square’s billboard. The billboards also feature other international badminton players that Victor Malaysia sponsors, including Tai Tzu Ying from Taiwan and Anders Antonsen from Denmark.
According to media intelligence company, CARMA, sentiments of social conversation around Lee have been largely positive, at 43.3%.
Netizens were beaming with pride when it came to Lee’s accomplishment.
