Fujitsu names Jezmynn Koh-Turner APAC marketing head

Fujitsu has appointed Jezmynn Koh-Turner as head of marketing for Asia Pacific to support its ambitious growth strategy across the region. Koh-Turner (pictured) is based in Singapore and will join the APAC leadership team in aiding the company’s regional business strategy and build Fujitsu’s sustainability brand, Uvance.

According to the company, this is a newly formed role and is part of the broader reorganisation of Fujitsu. In January 2022, Fujitsu announced the establishment of four new regions - Japan, Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific, to simplify the management structure, drive sustainable growth and bring more value to customers. Further to that Fujitsu announced in April 2022 the promotion of ANZ CEO Graeme Beardsell to EVP and CEO for Asia Pacific.

Koh-Turner reports to Laura Bonamici, vice head of global marketing and has dotted-line reporting to Beardsell. She has worked in marketing since 1999 when she started her career with Fujitsu as a sales and marketing manager for seven years where she supported the company's go-to-market strategies.

Koh-Turner said that she is very pleased to have re-joined Fujitsu during such an exciting period of transformation and that she looks forward to collaborating with the global marketing team and the Asia Pacific organisation to support Fujitsu’s growth strategy and bring to life our purpose-led strategic direction and focus.

Following her initial stint at Fujitsu, Koh-Turner has had more than two decades of experience in the APAC marketing industry. She worked at Systems Union Software, Singtel, F5 networks, Commvault and her penultimate company, Jedox, where she was the director of marketing for the APAC and MEA regions.

CEO of Fujitsu APAC said that Koh-Turner is the ideal executive lead for the APAC marketing team considering the extensive experience in the enterprise technology market across the APAC region. Her appointment comes at an opportune time as the company is looking to “elevate (its) position as a trusted digital transformation (DX) and sustainability transformation (SX) company in the region.”

Dr Laura Bonamici, vice head of global marketing, Fujitsu said that Koh-Turner’s passion for driving integrated marketing and communications strategies to generate market awareness, shift perception and impact consideration will be a great asset to the company and will aid greatly in “supporting the business strategy and financial objectives for the APAC region and building the Fujitsu Uvance brand”.
