Jameel Motors has appointed Yango to lead media strategy, planning and buying for the Australian rollout of Farizon, Geely’s electric commercial vehicle brand.
Jameel Motors, an automotive distribution company, is the official Australian distributor for Farizon, which is owned the Chinese automotive giant. Geely also owns Volvo, Polestar and Lotus.
With plans to expand its local distribution and dealership network, Jameel Motors has tasked Yango with connecting Farizon with Australian fleet operators and small business owners.
Stephen Clark, marketing manager at Jameel Motors Australia, said scaling an ambitious brand such as Farizon in Australia requires more than global backing.
“It needs a dedicated local team that understands our audience and knows how to deliver results,” Clark said.
“Yango’s approach and proven media expertise during the VE7 launch made them the clear choice to help us connect with Australian businesses and hit our aggressive growth milestones.”
Yango will collaborate with independent agency Traffic on creative executions. The appointment is effective immediately.
