Gucci and Marsper join forces to launch Gucci Cosmo-inspired collectibles
share on
Italian fashion brand Gucci and China-initiated pop IP Marsper have partnered up again to debut four limited-edition collectibles inspired by Gucci Cosmos and an immersive archival exhibition.
Debuting on Gucci’s WeChat Mini Progamme, the collection features four variations of the 30cm Gucci x Marsper doll dressed in four Gucci archival looks, presenting a fusion of classic Gucci elements such as double G logo, stripes in green and red colour and monogram patterns.
The wardrobe includes two sartorial silhouettes envisioned for both women and men from Tom Ford’s Fall Winter 1996 collection—the red velvet suit, as well as a double-breasted pinstripe counterpart. The red stock-tied blouse paired with the Double G belt from Alessandro Michele’s first Fall Winter 2015 men’s collection is featured, in addition to a GG monogram cape with rhinestone embroidery from the Gucci Aria Fall Winter 2021 collection, celebrating the house’s centennial.
Each collectible is accompanied by a Gucci Savoy suitcase featuring the GG monogram and Web, as a nod to the imaginative journey on which Gucci and Marsper embark together.

Furthermore, Gucci and Marsper have collaborated on an immersive archival exhibition at West Bund Center in Shanghai, aiming to portray how Gucci’s abiding codes and spirit have been brought to life over the past 102 years. The four collectible Marsper characters dressed in four archival looks are featured within the exhibition.

Back in December 2021, Gucci collaborated with Marsper to launch three Marsper figures dressed in suits from Gucci’s Aria collection. Through combining Chinese cultural elements and modernity, Gucci aimed to reimage the future of luxury collaborations, with a vision to shaping the local pop culture scene.
