GoSend strengthens ties with social sellers through Lunch For My Husband partnership

GoSend is deepening its support for Indonesia’s growing community of social sellers through a partnership with Lunch For My Husband, a homemade sandwich brand that has turned personal storytelling into a thriving online business. The collaboration underscores GoSend’s commitment to empowering small entrepreneurs who drive the country’s social commerce boom.

Indonesia ranks among the world’s most active social commerce markets, with 86% of consumers having made purchases directly via social media, according to a 2025 Microsave Consulting study.

For Yori Atira and her husband Mawarid Rolansyah, this digital landscape became the foundation of Lunch For My Husband, a homemade sandwich brand launched in August 2020. Initially born from Atira’s daily habit of preparing sandwiches for her husband, the venture grew into a storytelling platform - blending her background in fashion design and Rolansyah’s in graphic design to express creativity through food and visual identity.

Their sandwiches, inspired by flavours from cities they’ve visited, are available exclusively via pre-order through social media. Each delivery, Atira said, relies on GoSend’s “safe, fast, and affordable” service - particularly its on-time guarantee programme, which ensures delivery within one hour or grants a discount voucher to customers.

“From the beginning, GoSend Instant delivery service has remained committed to supporting the growth of our SME partners,” said Theresia Nadya, head of marketing at GoSend. “We also consistently promote SME products and businesses through initiatives such as the ‘Best Seller GoSend’ programme, ‘RekomenGoSend’ content series with Ariel Noah, and ‘Ruang Belajar GoSend’ training sessions - all aimed at enhancing the visibility and capability of social sellers.”

Nadya added that every GoSend delivery represents more than logistics - it connects sellers and customers through the dedication of its driver partners. To celebrate their contributions, GoSend and Lunch For My Husband introduced a special collaborative sandwich titled ‘Thank You’, inspired by nasi padang and the makan bajamba tradition of sharing meals in Minangkabau culture.

“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to GoSend’s driver partners who have accompanied us through every step of our journey,” said Atira. “This special sandwich created with GoSend is more than just food - it’s a story woven with warmth, joy, and gratitude.”

Hundreds of customers have enjoyed the limited-edition ‘Thank You’ sandwich, delivered via GoSend Instant. Each participating driver also received a free sandwich, while loyal customers were invited to share appreciation stories for GoSend drivers for a chance to win exclusive collaborative merchandise - including lunch bags and dining cloths.

The collaboration forms part of Gojek’s 15th anniversary celebration, Gojek B15A, highlighting its ongoing commitment to empowering everyday entrepreneurs and delivery partners across Indonesia.

Through its ecosystem of over 3 million drivers and 5.3 million merchants, Gojek - part of the GoTo Group - continues to advance the role of technology in improving livelihoods and fuelling Indonesia’s creative economy.
