Two former senior executives from Nine and SBS have joined forces to launch StoryDisco, a B2B consultancy focused on brand strategy, strategic communications and brand experience for media, tech and agency clients.
Founded by Nic Christensen, ex-head of corporate communications at Nine and SBS, and Luke Robinson, former Nine and Sony marketer and global CMO at WeAre8, StoryDisco brings an end-to-end proposition for brands wanting to align narrative with commercial ambition.
The consultancy launches with a roster including Adgile, Commercial Radio & Audio, ConvoMedia, Emergency Action Alliance, Fabulate, Involved Media, Meliora, SBS and TrinityP3.
Christensen, who began consulting late last year, said the B2B market is calling for more inventive ways to connect.
“Amid a rapidly changing media landscape, brands clearly want new and more innovative ways to engage their audiences. I am excited by the clients already working with us. They are not just looking for another media release, they want to reframe their role in the industry conversation and show leadership in their space,” Christensen said.
Robinson said the agency’s strength lies in bringing story and experience together. "StoryDisco takes a step back to see the bigger picture, helping brands show up with the right story, craft compelling brand experiences - whether through content or events - and deliver it consistently through a single brief."
The pair worked together for six years at Nine, leading corporate communications and trade marketing for the network. StoryDisco’s creative and activation partners include event and production provider Picha Group and creative director Ben Whitty.
