Changing your scooter's oil could now land you trackside in Japan or Malaysia. Through its latest loyalty programme, Federal Oil is offering Indonesian fans the chance to experience MotoGP live and meet the Gresini Racing team - simply by purchasing its Federal Matic lubricant and entering a unique code.

Between February and May 2025, ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (EMLI), the company behind Federal Oil, is ditching basic promotions in favour of full-throttle brand loyalty. The nationwide programme looks like a typical raffle - scan a code, submit your details, enter a workshop ID - but the goal is deeper: turning routine purchases into emotional buy-in.

This programme is held annually with the aim of showing appreciation to loyal users of Federal Matic products, said Rommy Averdy Saat, EMLI's market development general manager, in a release. "Federal Oil has partnered with Gresini Racing to deliver an exclusive and unforgettable experience for its customers. So, don't miss this opportunity - make sure to regularly change your scooter's oil at the nearest Federal Oil centre," he said.

The programme will end on 25 May, with the winners to be announced on 8 June. The main prize includes round-trip flights, accommodation, local transport, and paddock-access passes. Winners will also get a rare chance to meet Gresini Racing's team members in person. Dozens more will walk away with consolation prizes: everything from precious metals and electronic vouchers to branded merchandise like water bottles and keychains.

This comes as EMLI continues to expand consumer access to quality fuels through its Mobil POM Mikro network. Now available at over 2,000 locations across West Java, Banten, and East Java, the initiative is designed to improve convenience during the busy Eid travel period - ensuring that travellers and motorists can easily access Mobil Gasoline 92 without having to venture far from their route.

The longstanding partnership between Federal Oil and Gresini Racing - now spanning more than a decade - reflects a strategic alignment with one of the world's largest MotoGP fan bases: Indonesia. With a legacy of over 30 years in the local lubricant market, Federal Oil continues to leverage its presence in the premier class of international motorsport to reinforce brand visibility while supporting national pride on the global stage.

According to the official 2025 MotoGP calendar, the Japanese Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 September, followed by the Malaysian Grand Prix from 24 to 26 October.

Consumers can take part in the free MotoGP viewing programme by purchasing any Federal Matic product - excluding Gear Oil - through authorised channels, including Federal Oil centres and official stores on eCommerce platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and Lazada.

Participation involves scanning a QR code displayed at participating centres or accessing the dedicated website. From there, users are required to complete a form with their personal information, along with entering a unique code found under the bottle cap and a workshop code provided on the promotional poster.

Federal Oil prides itself on its triple comfort formula, which can improve fuel efficiency by up to 5%, potentially saving riders fuel and costs annually. Last year, the company launched three new lubricant variants designed for scooters and manual motorcycles.
