Dulce Vida partners Taiwanese tea brand to inject freshness into HK

Dulce Vida, the chocolate brand founded by Hong Kong actress and recent influencer Grace Chan, has partnered with Taiwanese tea brand Chatime to inject freshness into Hong Kong with their newly launched Chocolate squeeze cup.
Available from 1 August until 31 August, this innovative drink combines crispy chocolate with four different teas, offering a unique experience for shaken drink lovers.
The uniqueness of the "Chocolate squeeze cup" lies in its design: a crispy shell of rich dark chocolate from Italy is used to wrap the selected beverage. Consumers are invited to gently pinch it to enjoy the tactile pleasure of the crispy chocolate outer layer, and then savour the double flavour of the rich beverage blended with the chocolate.
Dulce Vida's playful and unique brand identity aligns with Chatime's unique flavours, aiming to inject freshness and something refreshing into the city. This collaboration specially introduces four limited-edition flavours, including black sesame milk, Thai pearl milk tea, strawberry milk and Taro purple yam special.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Chan said she fell in love with Chatime's Taro flavour when she first came across the brand during her trip to Bali in 2018. "Now it feels like a circle moment for me to collaborate with my favourite tea drink brand of all time."
Chan emphasised that both brands share a commitment to freshness, bold flavours, and exceptional taste, perfectly aligning with Dulce Vida’s core mission of delivering vibrant, high-quality culinary experiences. This synergy, she said, reflects their dedication to authenticity and innovation in every product they create.
The collaboration will be amplified through videos and visuals, as well as leveraging local foodies to spread the word.
Founded in 2024, the Spanish phrase ‘Dulce Vida‘, meaning ‘Sweet Life’, highlights Chan’s love for sweet treats while reflecting her values as a mother who balances family life with her career. Apart from highlighting her love for sweet treats, the new launch also reflects her values as a mother who balances family life with her career.
Describing being a content creator as an exciting but also a lonely job, Chan said she wishes to connect with the community physically. “You're trying to allow people to understand your background, and you're forced to almost go to these social settings where you can really help people understand what you're doing and why you love what you're doing. And with chocolate, it came very easily, because I love sweets too, and I really trust my brand."
