Crocs takes over K11 MUSEA store with immersive sandal pop-up

Crocs has transformed its K11 MUSEA store in Hong Kong into a limited-time sandal pop-up, featuring its new Korean street-style collections Saturday, Miami and more. The immersive retail activation invites shoppers to explore fresh silhouettes, customise their footwear on-site, and discover versatile ways to integrate sandals into everyday city life.

Driven by the dual campaign themes “Your Saturday starts here” and “Glad you noticed,” the lineup balances effortless, weekend-ready freedom with eye-catching design details. Leading the launch is the standout Saturday Metallic Buckle, which combines a sleek two-strap design with adjustable metallic hardware and Croslite foam footbeds engineered for Hong Kong’s climate.

Built to transition seamlessly from morning coffee runs to late-night plans, the versatile style—available in both classic and platform silhouettes—can be worn clean, styled with textured open-toe socks, or decorated with Jibbitz charms.

Tapping into fashion’s preference for minimalist, "barely-there" aesthetics, the Miami collection introduces Crocs’ slimmest profiles yet. Highlights include the vintage-inspired Miami Toe Loop with a square-toe profile, the Miami Flip in both square and round options, and the softer Miami Jelly Flip with a pliable upper strap.

Rounding out the options, the Getaway collection provides lightweight, packable footwear for urban and resort travel, while models like the Rio Flip, Bayaband Slide, and InMotion LiteRide add a sporty edge. Gender-neutral designs such as the Saturday Slide offer casual, wide-fit versatility suitable for quick errands, beach trips, or poolside events.

The pop-up brings the collection to life with hands-on customisation experiences, including an interactive Jibbitz Bar where visitors can build personalised pairs on the spot.

As an added perk, every sandal purchase includes a complimentary tote bag that guests can style at an in-store DIY station using patches, artwork, and campaign graphics while supplies last. The K11 MUSEA location is also serving as the host site for an exclusive preview window for all three Miami styles from 21 August to 23 August.

Most recently, Crocs has put a face, and a six-foot-tall crocodile, to its brand with the launch of Niles, its first official mascot, as it looks to build a longer-term character-driven storytelling strategy.

The mascot was unveiled following a month-long trail of Easter eggs planted across Crocs' digital channels. These included a three-foot egg appearing in the background of TikTok Shop livestreams and hidden across the brand's online platform logos, before culminating in a 24-hour social media countdown to Niles' "hatching".
