Costa Coffee has appointed Ogilvy Malaysia for brand and social media management, as well as campaign management.

As part of the appointment, Ogilvy will drive strategy, insights, creative ideation, in-store assets, video assets and social content. “With so many coffee brands and retail outlets nationwide, Ogilvy intends to build more meaningful connections with Malaysian coffee drinkers,” the agency said.

Costa Coffee is building its brand equity in Malaysia along with expanding its footprint in the country. It has opened over 700 Costa smart cafés, which are self-serve machines, nationwide, along with 14 Costa Coffee stores in Klang Valley, KLIA and Langkawi airports with ambition to double its growth in 2023 across Malaysia.
