Singaporean agency, Construct Digital, has appointed Samantha Shuttleworth (pictured) as its new head of strategy and transformation.
In her new role, Shuttleworth will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Construct Digital's strategic initiatives. According to a statement by Construct Digital, Shuttleworth will identify new opportunities, optimise strategic processes and drive initiatives aligned with the company's vision to lead ASEAN in transformation consultancy and delivery.
With a 25-year career in data-driven marketing, strategy and innovation, Shuttleworth carries with her deep knowledge of market trends, customer behaviours and emerging technologies.
Shuttleworth brings a wealth of regional and local experience to the team. With nearly a decade in Singapore, her career has also spanned global agencies, independent consultancies and startup roles in London and Melbourne.
According to her LinkedIn, prior to joining Construct Digital, she was founder and head of consulting at CalibrateM, a product consultancy, from 2018 to 2023 before which she was a product strategy director at R/GA Singapore, leading product and experience strategy to commercialise emerging technologies and digital products across APAC. She was at R/GA for just under two years.
Before R/GA, she worked as a chief strategist at DEVRIES GLOBAL, a public relations agency from 2014 to 2016. Her LinkedIn page states that she provided senior level strategic counsel and account leadership to global beauty and lifestyle clients. Her gamut of clients included P&G, Johnson and Johnson and IPG.
Leveraging her extensive experience and collaborative leadership style, Shuttleworth will work closely with Construct Digital's cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation, diversity, and inclusivity, a statement by the company stated. She will harness the company's strengths and leverage innovation to enhance its competitive edge in an ever-evolving market.
Her appointment comes at a crucial juncture as Construct Digital aims to expand its digital transformation capabilities and client base across the ASEAN region.
Shuttleworth shared her enthusiasm for the role, stating, "All the elements are here to create a next-generation transformation company - solid Singapore creds, strong client base and reputable leadership team. Beasdale joined Construct Digital as CEO in March last year, which at that point was a newly created role.

He has established and led the marketing consultancy, The Observatory, across multiple markets in Asia, he has also had real success in agency leadership roles with The Secret Little Agency, Iris Nation and DDB Worldwide.
