Cognito bolsters SG and HK offices with two new promotions

Integrated communications specialist Cognito has bolstered its Singapore and Hong Kong offices with two new senior promotions, of which Emma Arora (pictured left) is promoted to managing director and Felice Tobin (pictured right) is named as director and head of Hong Kong.

Retaining her position as head of Cognito Singapore, Arora has over 15 years’ experience in delivering integrated multi-market campaigns and high stakes crisis support for corporate, financial services and technology clients across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe. 

Arora joined Cognito in 2020 and supported companies to deliver strategic, integrated campaigns in Singapore and across the Southeast Asia region.According to her LinkedIn, Arora joined AKA Asia in November 2019 as an account director prior to Cognito, and was promoted to senior account director in June 2020. Before that, Arora worked at different PR agencies including Ogilvy, Farrer Kane, Spada and BH PR & Communications.

Meanwhile, Tobin specialises in supporting companies in raising their profiles in the Hong Kong, Greater China and wider APAC markets by leveraging her own experience together with Cognito’s PR and digital marketing strategies that have been developed over more than 20 years in the business.

According to her LinkedIn, Tobin joined Cognito in October 2020 as an account manager. She was promoted to senior account manager in October 2021. Prior to her new role, she helmed the role of associate director. She was responsible as a PR and communications consultant, as well as client servicing leading across multiple financial, technology and professional services accounts. Arora helped firms raise their profiles in the Hong Kong, Greater China and wider APAC markets through effective PR and digital marketing strategies. 

Prior to Cognito, Tobin was alliance and partnerships manager at OFX. She was responsible for driving the growth of OFX's alliance segment in Hong Kong by ensuring the delivery of its financial and strategic goals through building and maintaining strategic, revenue-generating partnerships across consumer, corporate and e-commerce verticals.
