Bupa Global names new general manager for Asia

Bupa Global has appointed Alison Massey (pictured) as the new general manager for its Asia region. Drawing on more than two decades of expertise in IPMI strategy and business development, Massey will spearhead the company’s strategic growth and customer-focused innovation across Asia.

In her new role, Massey will be responsible for the strategic direction and commercial performance of Bupa Global across Asia including Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia markets.

Her primary focus will be on strengthening the customer value proposition by advancing digital transformation and delivering premium health and wellbeing solutions to individuals, families, and corporate clients throughout the region.

Her background includes a series of transformative leadership roles, most recently as global head of health at HSBC, where she directed customer innovation and development strategies worldwide and across key Asian markets. Prior to that, she played a key role at Now Health International, scaling the business from its initial launch in four markets to nine territories and pioneering a fully digital platform that drove significant member acquisition.
