Malaysian fashion brand Bonia has named Nayeon (pictured), member of South Korean pop girl group TWICE, as its latest brand ambassador.

In her appointment as ambassador, Nayeon will be the face of Bonia’s Spring Summer 2024 Daytime Reverie campaign, according to the brand on its social media platforms.

Bonia began teasing its new ambassador last week with the caption “a burst of colour that POPs” alluding to Nayeon’s solo debut single POP released in 2022.

The teaser takes consumers behind the scenes with footage of Nayeon carrying a bag and blue suit as the campaign is being filmed.

Nayeon is no stranger to working with brands. Last year, she released a collection with Tommy Hilfiger’s sub-brand Tommy Jeans and was also Givenchy beauty’s brand ambassador.

TWICE has proven to be a popular group among brands as other members have been selected to be ambassadors by various brands.

These include Dahyun who was named the global ambassador for Michael Kors and Tzuyu who fronts Ponds Skin Institute’s campaign to celebrate the launch of its new Bright Miracle product range.

Titled "Miracles Happen", Ponds Skin Institute’s campaign was inspired by the science behind niasorcinol, the main ingredient of the new product line that boosts the skin's ability to self-repair.
