BBC Studios has appointed Erin Williams (pictured) as senior vice president of advertising sales and StoryWorks for Asia Pacific, effective immediately.
Based in Singapore, Williams will lead the company's advertising sales strategy across the Asia Pacific region, including Japan, Australia and New Zealand. She will oversee BBC Studios' regional sales organisation, with responsibility for accelerating revenue growth, strengthening client relationships and expanding the company's advertising and branded content offering across platforms.
In her new role, Williams will work closely with BBC Studios' global and regional leadership teams to develop integrated advertising solutions and support the company's commercial growth strategy across Asia Pacific.

The appointment marks a strategic investment in BBC Studios' advertising business in APAC as the company looks to grow its commercial footprint and deepen partnerships with brands across the region.
Williams joins BBC Studios with senior leadership experience across global media and advertising. She was previously sales director, APAC at CNN, digital director, APAC at Warner Media and director, sales and brand partnerships at FOX Sports. In those roles, Williams focused on driving commercial growth across the Asia Pacific region.
James Wildbore, global SVP and general manager of advertising sales at BBC Studios, said Williams' appointment would strengthen the company's advertising capabilities in the region.
"Williams brings outstanding leadership experience, deep regional knowledge and a clear commercial vision. Her appointment marks an important step in strengthening our advertising capabilities in APAC and positions us for continued growth across the region," he said.
Commenting on her new role, Williams said: "As one of the most iconic and powerful brands in the world, I've long admired the strength of BBC Studios' content, impact and reputation amongst audiences and partners alike. I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the APAC team, working together to evolve and grow advertising partnerships with smart and influential creative solutions."
The appointment comes as BBC Studios continues to strengthen its leadership team across the Asia Pacific region. Earlier this month, the company named Sharon Wilson as director of brands and licensing for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Wilson is responsible for leading brand strategy and licensing initiatives across the region, with a focus on driving growth across BBC Studios' portfolio of brands, including Bluey, as the company expands its consumer products and partnerships business in ANZ.
