Singapore-based art studio Chiral Comics has joined forces with Archie Comics to give the Riverdale gang a local twist for SG60.

The collab saw the release of a special variant cover of Betty & Veronica: Summer Fun in the Sun #1. The covers sees Betty, Veronica and friends exploring Gardens by the Bay as well as main character Archie donning an "I love SG" shirt. His best friend Jughead is also seen munching on durian.

The SG60 cover was illustrated by Singaporean comic artist Kang Jing (KJ) — known for his work with Marvel, Star Wars and more — together with Italian artist Daniele Caramanico.

Unveiled over the weekend, the limited-edition variant is packed with hidden Easter eggs nodding to Singapore’s landmarks and local quirks. Only 300 copies will be available worldwide. It is currently priced at SG$25.55 each. Select Singapore comics retailers such as Kalibak Komiks and 1to3 Comics will also carry it.
