Acer Gaming and Komodo partner up to bring Steam Deck to HK and TW retail stores

Acer Gaming and Komodo, the international games company and licensed provider of Steam Deck in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan, have partnered up to bring the Steam Deck and Steam Deck Docking Station to Acer retail stores in Hong Kong and Taiwan from 17 March. 

Steam Deck is a all-in-one handheld gaming PC built to run thousands of games of all kinds, including many AAA franchises popular around the world. It is designed for ease of use, ergonomics, and comfort, and is customisable to fit each gamer's play style.

This marks the first time that the handheld gaming PC is available to demo at physical retail stores in these regions. Both the Steam Deck and Steam Deck Docking Station can be purchased at PREDATOR store in K11 MUSEA  and Golden Computer Centre store, as well as six Acer stores in Taiwan, including Guang Hua Digital Plaza (光華數位新天地) , Taoyuan NOVA(NOVA桃園店), Zhongli NOVA (NOVA中壢店), Taichung NOVA (NOVA台中店), Hsinchu NOVA (NOVA新竹店 )and Tainan Rainbow. 

The official Steam Deck account for Taiwan has announced on Twitter the list of games that are available for hands-on demo, including "Aperature Desk Job", "Devil May Cry 5", "Melty Blood", "Octopath Traveler 2", "Hades", "Scarlet Nexus" and "Portal 2". 

Moving forward, Komodo is planning to launch Steam Deck at retail stores in Japan and South Korea in the future.
