ACAM builds national network of AI marketing advisers

The Australian Centre for AI in Marketing is building a national network of accredited advisers as organisations move from experimenting with AI towards embedding it into marketing teams and workflows.

ACAM has launched its Accredited Advisors program, combining its research, benchmarking, education and transformation frameworks with experienced marketers, executives and independent consultants.

Fractional executive community Maestro is the first strategic partner, with four of its practitioners already accredited and another 10 undergoing the program.

ACAM co-founder and CEO Louise Cummins said the shift towards implementation was changing the expertise organisations needed.

“Over the past year we’ve seen organisations move very quickly from asking what AI in marketing can do to asking how they actually make it work across their organisation,” Cummins said.

“That requires much more than technology. Organisations need capability, leadership, change, operating model expertise and experienced people who can help turn AI opportunities into action.”

Cummins said ACAM did not intend to build a large permanent consulting operation, instead drawing on accredited specialists when their expertise was required.

The network follows ACAM's recent launch of the Global Centre for AI in Marketing, with the US becoming its first international benchmark market.
