7-Eleven's own brand 7CAFÉ has doubled down on its efforts towards sustainability with its "Coffee that Cares" campaign, to celebrate this year’s Earth Day.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, a spokesperson from 7CAFÉ said the campaign aims to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and ultimately boost sales by highlighting the good qualities and great taste of 7CAFÉ freshly brewed coffee with great value for money. It also emphasises the brand's commitment to using RFA beans and employing sustainable practices.

As part of the campaign, the brand has unveiled a three-day promotion from 22 April until 24 April to let everyone enjoy its limited-edition offerings including Pistachio Flavoured Cereal Oat Milk Coffee and Pistachio Flavoured Cereal Oat Milk.

During this period, customers who visit any 7CAFÉ or 7CAFÉ+ and purchase pistachio flavoured cereal oat milk coffee or pistachio flavoured cereal oat milk will enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free deal.

This promotion allows everyone to enjoy the rich taste of OATLY oat milk combined with high-quality, freshly ground coffee made from 100% Rainforest Alliance certified Arabica beans.

The promotion is valid at participating 7-Eleven stores that carry oat milk products and excludes certain locations in Hong Kong and Macau such as Repulse Bay, Hong Kong International Airport, Chek Lap Kok Air Cargo Terminal, AsiaWorld-Expo, Discovery Bay, amongst others.

In terms of marketing strategies, the spokesperson said the brand has leveraged emotional approach to amplify the campaign key message. Integrated marketing channels and engaging content with KOL collaborations are also leveraged to maximise the campaign reach and awareness.

Furthermore, 7CAFÉ is offering a buy-one-get-one-free promotion for customers who bring their own cups and purchase any 7CAFÉ drink in support of Earth Day.

Available from 22 April to 7 May, this initiative is part of a broader effort to promote an eco-friendlier lifestyle, encouraging consumers to sip sustainably with their friends and loved ones.

During this period, customers who bring their own cups to purchase any 7CAFÉ drink can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free offer, available for hot drinks or iced drinks, excluding expresso shots or co-branded crossover products. Both drinks must be served in the customer's own cups to qualify for the promotion.

Don't miss: 7CAFÉ dives deep into sustainability with new green initiative

7CAFÉ has been committed to providing convenient, great-value, freshly ground coffee on the go. Committed to sustainability, 7CAFÉ has been running the "Good Coffee. Now Greener" initiative since 2022.

As part of the initiative, 7CAFÉ has been introducing 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified Arabica coffee beans with fully biodegradable paper cups and lids.

All coffee beans at 7CAFÉ are premium beans sustainably sourced from coffee farms that are fully certified by the Rainforest Alliance in Brazil, Honduras, and Indonesia. The beans are then freshly roasted in Hong Kong with a unique “Fully City” coffee roasting technology, ringing of full, rich nutty-like almond and herbaceous notes, savouring a delicate flavour and ending with a smoky sweetness aftertaste.
