Wunderman has hired Lincoln Bjorkman as global chief creative officer, responsible for Wunderman’s global creative strategy and creative process.
He will be handling tasks across the 170 offices in 60 countries, reporting to Wunderman chairman and CEO Daniel Morel. Bjorkman (pictured) will also now become a member of the Wunderman executive board, which defines the agency’s business direction and strategy and will lead Wunderman’s global creative council. The council was formed last year to stimulate creative conversation and cooperation.
He was last at DigitasLBi. There, Bjorkman ran the agency’s six North American offices including its largest accounts, American Express.
“Digital engagement today is focused on rich, sophisticated, creative content that increasingly resembles TV,” said Morel. “Tapping into a creative who is well versed in the world of television and pixel-rich content is critical to developing engrossing digital pieces.”
