Media company Etsuri Miignon has started providing direct services to brands in Indonesia. This is through Miignon.com, a website which publishes content for female fashion and beauty readers in Indonesia. The brand aims to help brands connect with their audiences through sponsored articles, consumer surveys, influencer contributions, product reviews and an online shop.
Following the launch, Miignon is offering free trials for brands wanting to try sponsored articles. This comes as the looks toward expansion outside of being a pure media platform. This includes opening an online shop where brands can directly sell their products to consumers. Through the move, it also aims to help brands eyeing the Indonesian market to minimise entry costs and access its readers who are mainly located in Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan.
“We must be aware that traditional advertising is not the most effective way to reach a young audience anymore and brands must innovate in spreading their message,” CEO and founder Ryutaro Yokoyama said.
