Grey Group Malaysia appoints Lowe's Tan Yong Hin as CFO

Grey Group Malaysia has hired Tan Yong Hin as chief financial officer.He reports to Irene Wong, chief executive officer of Grey Group Malaysia, and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Tan joins Grey from Lowe and Partners. He has served in agencies including Ogilvy & Mather. Tan has 20 years of experience in marketing communications, semiconductor, telecommunication and public accounting industries.Tan’s financial exposure includes strategic planning and implementation, business partnering, financial analysis and business modeling, and working capital optimization at local, regional and global operations level, amongst others.At Lowe and Partners, he was involved in the formulation and implementation of the business turnaround plan, and rebuilding the entire back-end support function of the company by identifying the right new talents and introducing business partnership concepts to the team.Wong said, “Tan’s impressive experience and knowledge makes him the right fit for us.
