Geometry Global Singapore has appointed Jane Perry as its managing director. Perry replaces Mary Jane Butler, who has departed to pursue other opportunities, the agency confirmed to Marketing. Prior to her exit, Butler held the MD role since July 2016.
In her new role, Perry will undertake responsibilities such as growing businesses and providing high-quality brand activation services. She will report to Diana Cawley, Asia Pacific CEO of Geometry Global, and will be based in Singapore.
Prior to the move, Perry was most recently managing director APAC at The Client Relationship Consultancy, where she delivered client intelligence and coaching to CEOs and executives of major network agencies regionally. Prior to that, she was managing director of WPP retail and branding agency FITCH Southeast Asia. She has also held leadership roles with BBDO, iris Nation and Leo Burnett and joins Geometry Global Singapore with 17 years’ experience across Asia, Australia and the UK.
“Perry is an industry veteran, whose experience covers both network creative agencies and independent consultancies across the globe. She understands Geometry Global’s mission to inspire people to buy well. In addition, having worked in Singapore for many years, Perry knows the market and clients’ needs. I am confident that her leadership will take the team onwards and upwards,” Diana Cawley, Asia Pacific CEO of Geometry Global, said.
“I have maintained an interest in Geometry over the years, observing the developments and successes as it has established itself as one of the leading brand transformation agencies. I am thrilled to finally be a part of the agency, and to be leading a critical market like Singapore is a real privilege,” Perry said.
Perry’s appointments follows several others in the past year. In May this year, Geometry Global appointed Simon McLoughlin as its regional head of operations for Asia Pacific. He reports to Diana Cawley, Asia Pacific CEO of Geometry Global, who joined the agency in July 2016.
On a global level, the agency promoted Sarah Todd, former CEO of Geometry Global UK, to the role of global client leader and head of shopper marketing EMEA. Meanwhile, Michelle Whelan, former managing director and founder of M&C Saatchi Shop, steps in as Geometry’s new UK CEO.
