CTE brings HK entertainment to Singapore

Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) has launched a Hong Kong entertainment channel cHK on SingTel mio TV in Singapore, offering blockbusters, celebrity-driven infotainment, lifestyle shows, late night programs and dramas.The high definition channel is shown in Mandarin but viewers can opt for original Cantonese audio track on its on demand channel.“Hong Kong is known for its exciting movies, television programs, food, fashion and bustling nightlife.  With cHK, we are packaging all this excitement into one contemporary, celebrity-powered channel, in high definition,” said Todd Miller, CEO of Celestial Tiger Entertainment.“SingTel mio TV is an ideal home for cHK.  We look forward to entertaining mio TV's growing subscriber base with a unique blend of Hong Kong entertainment, never before aired in Singapore.” he added.“We are delighted to be the first in Singapore to launch this channel, a welcome new addition to mio TV’s Asian content suite, which already features a stellar line-up of channels,” said Goh Seow Eng, managing director, TV, at SingTel.He said the launch is to respond to customer requests, as many have indicated their interest in quality content from Hong Kong. "Our self-packaged Jia Le channel, which also screens content in its original dialect, is consistently one of our most watched channels and we believe that cHK will quickly become just as popular.”cHK can be viewed on channel 510 and cHK On Demand on channel 511on SingTel mio TV.  Both channels will be added to the Jingxuan+ Pack – which features over 20 channels from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China - at no extra charge.
