Zouk hands digital media duties to Lion & Lion

Zouk has appointed digital marketing agency Lion & Lion to handle digital media duties for ZoukOut in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia, following a pitch. The agency was chosen for its “strategic thinking and media expertise,” the press statement read.

Jason Kong, associate marketing director at Zouk Singapore, said the agency demonstrated performance know-how and a strong understanding of the music festival scene. Work is expected to roll out in December.

“We were also impressed with their digital expertise and the agency’s performance driven objectives. We look forward to working closely with the team at Lion & Lion to drive an effective and successful digital campaign for ZoukOut this year,” Kong said.

“Considering that driving business results is part of our DNA, we are thrilled to be working with a team who is highly data driven and KPI oriented. ZoukOut is set to be Asia’s largest beach music festival, so the team is excited to be supporting the success of this year’s event,” Sumit Ramchandani, managing director, Singapore at Lion & Lion, added.

Last month, Lion & Lion expanded into Ho Chi Minh City, adding on to its list of operations in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta and Hong Kong. Managing director Ben Waters is tasked with leading the Vietnam operation and growing the business.

In July, Otterbox appointed the agency to manage its search engine marketing campaigns and all paid search in nine countries across the Asia Pacific region – Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Philippines and Australia.
