Yahoo promotes Gavarasana

Vaasu S Gavarasana, former APAC head of digital marketing solutions group of Yahoo has been promoted. He now takes the role of head of business marketing in APAC.Gavarasana will be responsible for B2B marketing including thought leadership marketing and industry outreach programs aimed at strengthening Yahoo’s position within the marketing and advertising community.Gavarasana has been with Yahoo since 2011. Prior to that he was based in Delhi and held the role of EVP and head of the Delhi Office in Bates 141. He has also held various senior level roles at McCann and Y&R.He will be based in Singapore and will report to Nitin Mathur, who is head of marketing for India and Southeast Asia.
