LOOK Yahoo's typo results in accidental racial slur

Nothing gets erased in the digital world. Ever. Your every single move matters.A typo by Yahoo has recently gotten it into some Twitter drama. Yahoo in an intent to tweet on Donald Trump's desire to build a much "bigger" Navy accidentally replaced the letter 'b' with the one right next to it, 'n'.The response to this was obvious. Folks in the Twitter-verse were quick to point the error. The tweet generated thousands of angry retweets by the second with users who refused to dismiss it as an error. Yahoo Finance made an EPIC racist TYPO on twitter. Whoever did that must be VERY HAPPY that we STILL CAN'T edit a tweet. THANK YOU @twitter. pic.twitter.com/IOy7qTDOd2— The Adam's Corner (@TheAdamsCorner) January 6, 2017Since then Yahoo has deleted the tweet and apologised. But the world of Twitter was not as forgiving.  Here are some tweets that came out after the faux pas. It's a game of inches @YahooFinance pic.twitter.com/i1Gk2BeKAY — Jay Scott Smith (@JayScottSmith) January 6, 201715 minutes.just “nigger navy”over on yahoo finance.16 minutes now.still there.— Xavier D'Leau (@XavierDLeau) January 6, 2017Yahoo already gave up all our passwords --twice. Guess they figured there was nothing more to lose. #YahooFinance — Casey Gerald (@CaseyGerald) January 6, 2017   However, in an effort to savage the situation, the company tweeted an apology.Too bad Yahoo. You just messed with the wrong letter.
