X Social Group names Jackson Kwok their new CEO

X Social Group has appointed Jackson Kwok as CEO, with immediate effect. Kwok succeeds Samuel Lam, who will remain in X Social Group and be responsible for strengthening investor relations and broadening sources of company investment.With close to 30 years of experience in advertising and digital marketing, Kwok was formerly CEO of Omnicom Media Group in Hong Kong and is the founder of X Horizon Group. Following the appointment, Kwok remains as president of X Horizon.Over the past few years, X Social Group has seen growth in both business and reputation including new client gains such as Hermès and Omega, has won numerous awards, despite the shrinking advertising market. Given the fast-changing digital landscape, X Social Group is strategically poised to keep up with the changes and continuously evolve the company’s structure and business model in order to survive and thrive in an increasingly turbulent business environment.“It’s time for a transformation, but we strongly believe successful innovation comes after renovation. Strengthening the company’s infrastructure and manpower resources is of upmost importance to further expansion of our business,” said the newly appointed CEO of X Social Group, Jackson Kwok.He will focus on transforming the company into a data-driven digital marketing agency by building new ad-tech platforms including its own agency trading desk, upgrading its strategic planning, social media and content marketing, programmatic advertising and data analytics capabilities, while maintaining its core competence in the cross-border frontier.“Injecting talent is the way to turn our vision into reality,” said Kwok. “Other than developing the potential of our people to the fullest, X Social Group will attract new blood and more senior-graded talents from diverse backgrounds to join the team.”Together with Emily Loi, co-founder and COO of X Social Group, he said their aim is to take the business to a new level and redefine the notion of what a data-driven digital marketing agency stands for now and in the future.“Accepting challenges and transforming are what keep us moving forward!
