Love those chit-chattering tea break?WeChat and Chatime have partnered up to give WeChat users the opportunity to redeem and purchase up to 1 million cups of ChaTime worth over RM6 million through digital coupons.From 18th to 27th October 2013, WeChat users can claim a free second cup of Chatime at RM1 with every purchase of a normal priced beverage simply by flashing their digital WeChat coupon.The main objective of this collaboration is not to only enhance the connectivity and interaction of WeChat users and reward them, but to create a trend of mobile engagement with its customers.Bryan Loo, managing director of Chatime Malaysia, said Chatime strives to be in line with the many new advancement in technology."We are now shifting our gear and going beyond social media to reach out to our existing and new customers. Most of our customers turn to different mobile communication apps for fast, easy and usually free communications with their friends and loved ones."Chatime Malaysia has an official account on WeChat to provide the brand to interact with its consumers.To promote this offering, Chatime Malaysia will be running a series of roadshows in the Klang Valley, Penang, Ipoh and Johor until 27 October 2013. News on this offering will be disseminated via WeChat and Chatimes’ social media and digital properties as well.
