UK-based tech agency launches Singapore office

UK-based technology marketing agency April Six has launched its first Asia Pacific office in Singapore.With the new office, the agency  aims to become the first agency in the AsiaPacific region to offer a specialist service for technology organisations with a truly global footprint.  April Six Singapore will provide technology firms in the region with more service options.April Six has appointed Brad Harris (pictured), managing director, to lead its Singapore office.Harris will be supported by the delivery team at Splash Interactive, the Singapore-based digital marketing services agency acquired by April Six’s parent company, The Mission Marketing Group in October last year. Harris will focus on client engagement, strategic planning and creative development in the region.Harris has more than 15 years’ experience leading technology marketing programmes in the region. He has held leadership roles at Netremedia and DMG Events, where he was responsible for the entire regional sales and marketing strategy for both businesses. Most recently, he spearheaded the regional expansion of digital performance agency OOm, growing the business from a team of 11 to a team of over 50 specialists in search marketing, social media management, mobile and video marketing, within three years.“The launch of April Six Singapore is the final part of our plan to create a truly unique worldwide offering that combines the benefits of specialist technology marketing experience at both the local and global level,” Fiona Shepherd, CEO of April Six, said.She added there is a huge opportunity to demonstrate that technology businesses in this part of the world no longer have to compromise if they want powerful marketing campaigns that deliver an outstanding return on investment (ROI)."Today, technology clients don’t have a choice. If agencies have a global footprint they don’t have a focus on technology. If they do focus on technology, they cannot leverage experience from around the world. When we launch on Thursday we will be unique in Singapore and we will offer a brand new option which offers experts in their sector, their region and the delivery of real ROI,” she added
