TNS makes new appointment

Global research consultancy TNS appointed Hemant Dham as executive director, Operations, India. Dham, who held the post of Vice President, Operations for TNS India & Sri Lanka in 2010, rejoins the company from IPSOS, where he has been leading the operations function for India.Dham (pictured) will provide leadership to all the operations teams across India, and will report into Vishy Rajagopal S, regional director, operations, TNS Asia Pacific, and Chhavi Bhargava, India MD. Dham assumes his position with immediate effect and will be based in Mumbai, India.He has over 20 years’ experience in the research industry, having held a variety of roles with NFO, IRIS, Nielsen and IPSOS.Vishy Rajagopal who came on board in November last year said: “Dham joins TNS at a time when we are ready to redefine and completely digitalise data collection across geographies”.He added that TNS has made major investments in new technology and talent to enhance its offering and the appointment is “key to achieving its overall strategy.”
