Imri Mokhtar, executive vice president, consumer and SME, TM said: “Statistics indicate that only a relatively small percentage of Malaysian SMEs is fully utilising the ICT in their business operations and most of them are still comfortable with the conventional ways of doing business.”
“There is still low ICT adoption by SMEs in Malaysia with less than 30% SMEs in Malaysia use ICT in their business operations. In line with the current challenging economic situation, SMEs need to be adaptive towards innovation to enable them to stay relevant in the current market. Competition is intense and only those who are willing to take a step further and stay ahead of the game will survive.”
”The use of ICT tools is one of the key factors that can push SMEs forward to achieve greater efficiency, higher productivity and profitability as well as to expand their market reach. Thus, SME BizFest 2016 brought to you by TM, will be able to help Malaysian SMEs to innovate and empower their business, in line with TM’s vision of “Business Made Easier”,” he added.
