Following an eight-way pitch, Malaysian company DNA COMM (DNA) has been officially appointed by Telekom Malaysia (TM) as its above-the-line communications agency for UniFi, the telco’s business portfolio for mass market consumers and SMEs.
The appointment was awarded based on DNA’s strategy to bridge the gap between Malaysians’ behaviour, product offerings and go-to-market ideas. DNA’s portfolio of past and present clients includes PETRONAS, Malaysia Debt Ventures, Burger King, East Coast Economic Region Development Council, Tourism Malaysia (ASEAN) and Hyundai.
“In the 20 years of DNA, we’ve been able to ride out as well as rise with the economic cycles that affect both us and our clients. This has imbued us with an acute understanding of the needs of our clients’ businesses and is reflected in our approach towards what affects a business,” said Feisal Merican, CEO of DNA (pictured centre, seated).
“We are ecstatic that TM has entrusted us with theirs and look forward to a fruitful partnership with Malaysia’s Convergence Champion,” added Feisal.
