STB campaign banks on digital

The Singapore Tourism Board has launched its new digital platform to reach tourists, as part of its latest campaign.

The new website,, is designed to allow travellers to plan and book travel, use the internet as a reference source along with the e-commerce associated with procuring their travel options online. It is also designed to help travellers to explore Singapore through the web.

The digital ecosystem will roll out over the next six months. It will include additional tools, utilities, e-commerce, search strategies, CRM and mobile applications, all wrapped within a social marketing framework.

The site is created by XM Asia.

According to a note by XM Asia, the site was designed with inspiration from a Chinese proverb: “Tell me and I’ll forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I’ll understand”.
