SpotXchange names Southeast Asia lead

Video advertising platform SpotXchange, has appointed Sujen Selva as regional manager, Southeast Asia.

In this newly created role, Selva will be responsible for leading SpotXchange’s efforts in Southeast Asia and supporting both publisher and advertiser relations in the region.

Based in Singapore, Selva will report to Matt Von der Muhll, managing director for SpotXchange, Asia Pacific.

“Digital video advertising in the Asia Pacific region is growing at an exponential rate and Sujen’s role was created to help SpotXchange meet this increasing demand. We see a significant opportunity in the region, and this is the next step of many we anticipate for continued investment and expansion of our presence in Asia Pacific,” Matt Von der Muhll, Managing Director for SpotXchange, Asia Pacific, said.

Prior to joining SpotXchange, Selva held the role of social specialist at Adconion Australia, where he was instrumental in launching the social media platform for the company and managed its operations and product development.

“There is still a lot of confusion and a lack of transparency, which is clouding the waters on both sides of the video ecosystem, and so the key will be to build lasting relationships between buyers and publishers,” Selva said.
