SPHMBO re-launches 313@somerset facade

SPHMBO, the Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH), has re-launched its 313@somerset facade advertising space with a brand new digital LED screen.Situated prominently along Orchard Road, the shopping mall draws locals and tourists all day long. The coveted and unblocked screen will see sharper display resolution capable of conveying any messages effectively to the outdoor audience day and night.In conjunction with the re-launch, SPHMBO is rolling out a Valentine’s Day wefie contest to promote interaction with consumers.All participants have to do is to take a wefie with the LED screen in the background, include a creative caption in less than 10 words and submit it with the hashtag #wefie313vday on their own Instagram account.Five contestants with the most creative posts will win fine dining vouchers. The contest period is from 31 January to 6 February. Photos will be selected daily to form a ‘Wefie of the Day’ collage, which will be showcased and displayed on the LED screen.Julie Wee, product development director of SPHMBO, said: “It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the launch of our new LED screen with a Valentine’s Day wefie concept by using Instagram which is popular amongst shoppers, youths and trendsetters.”“With the expansion of our OOH presence in prime CBD locations, SPHMBO looks forward to better serve brands with an array of advertising options to extend their campaigns.”
