Singer Siti Nurhalizaâ€™s beauty brand Simplysiti has plans to enter the Indonesian cosmetics market by the first half of next year.
This is according to a report by The Star which saw the beauty brandâ€™s executive chairman, Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamed Jiwa confirming the move at a collaboration ceremony between Simplysiti and Airasia Big Duty Free in Sepang recently.
According to Khalid, the company will leverage on Nurhalizaâ€™s popularity in the nation, with outlets slated to open in main Indonesian cities such as Jakarta. There are currently talks with potential partners for the Indonesia venture.
In a press statement to The Star, Khalid told the press that Nurhaliza is set to hold concerts in Indonesia next year in five to six cities, making it a good time for Simplysiti products to make its debut in the country.
