Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) has appointed MEC as its new media agency, shifting the account from incumbent OMD.
MEC is contracted for a period of two years. The agency will be tasked to handle the Sentosa business and dealing with branding, strategic planning and creative planning of future campaigns. The pitch was first called in June this year. This is not the first time SDC has worked with MEC. In 2011, the agency used to handle media buying for SDC in Singapore along with markets in the region as well, such as Malaysia, India and China.
SDC’s other business units are Sentosa Golf Club, Sentosa Cove Pte Ltd, Sentosa Cove Resort Management Pte Ltd and Mount Faber Leisure Group.
Sentosa also recently unveiled a new campaign called “The Fun Movement” which was conceptualised by Grey Group Singapore and it invites residents of Singapore to nominate people who most deserve to take a break from everyday hassles.
