Publicis Singapore hands Joanne Theseira MD role

Publicis Communications Singapore has promoted Joanne Theseira (pictured) to managing director of Publicis Singapore. In her new role, Theseira will oversee both Publicis Singapore and design and technology consultancy, Nurun, where she will continue to work with Jon Ng, creative partner.Theseira is tasked with building on the creative agency’s strong business performance in the past three years through deeper integration across its roster of sister agencies in the hub like MSLGROUP, Luminous and Prodigious. She will report to Lou Dela Pena, CEO, Publicis Communications Singapore.Theseira joined Publicis in July 2014 with experiences in digital marketing, shopper marketing and integrated brand communications. Prior to joining Publicis, Theseira spent 11 years with TBWA Singapore where she worked as both an integrated brand leader and a new business driver, and also helped successfully launch the agency’s Digital Arts Network offering in 2012.“Theseira has been a quiet force behind the incredible growth story at Publicis and I can't think of a more deserving, young, progressive, agile, leader like Theseira, who will now take over a brand that I’ve come to love in the last three years.
