The National Environment Agency has appointed BBH after a 17-way pitch for its Smoking Ban publicity campaign. The awarded value of the tender is understood to be worth close to SG$1.5million.The campaign is the fourth extension of the government's drive to raise awareness of the new areas that will come under the smoking ban.The tender was first published on the government website in August.Ogilvy and Mather was the last other agency to be in the running for this pitch, sources told Marketing.BBH also worked on a smaller project for NEA in 2007.Said Steve Elrick, regional executive creative director, BBH Asia Pacific: “It is particularly pleasing to win this since we had a tight core team of dedicated people who really dove into this with personal  passions. We believe that the work bravely bought by the NEA, will display such a strong, quirky Singapore voice that it will speak to all of Singapore in a very inclusive way.”Meanwhile, the NEA has also appointed Asatsu-Dk for its annual tender for its Clean and Green campaign (CGS).  Asatsu-Dk is in charge of the campaign which runs across print and TV and out of home. The contract is for a period of four months. Currently, NEA is also looking for a quotation for CGS 2013 newspaper advertising and the tender closes at the end of the month.
