Broadcast channel NBCUniversal has launched a new campaign targeted at advertisers to reinforce the message that it is integral for marketers to connect with women.
NBCUniversal has launched the NBCUniversal Truth campaign, in Asia which highlights facts about the contemporary Asian woman and her lifestyle. The campaign aligns these facts with the relevant shows from its portfolio of channels to help marketers target the particular demographic.
The campaign has rolled out with print and online media buys in Asian publications and will also be conducting roadshows in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
The network worked with M&C Saatchi for all creative and media buying duties.
Through the campaign, the channel aims to showcase the advantage of a targeted approach to engage the female TV audience.
It also highlights how Pay-TV operators can benefit from NBCUniversal to reach the female TV audience, citing a research that shows women are decision makers in the family, making 64% of all purchase decisions.
