Nanyang Technological University tipped to settle creative pitch

Nanyang Technological University has appointed J. Walter Thomson to provide creative services for its communication projects. The agency will create an integrated campaign that spans out-of-home and print advertising that will launch in the first quarter of 2017.Marketing has reached out to NTU for a statement.“We are extremely excited to work with NTU on their campaign. Singapore’s education system is recognized as amongst the best in the world and NTU’s position in Singapore continues to go from strength to strength,” said Peter Womersley, J. Walter Thompson Singapore CEO.  “There are not many clients that can have such a profound impact on an individual’s future helping to unleash a student’s ambition and enabling them to realize their true potential.”Marketing last reported that NTU was looking for an agency to undertake marketing and advertising duties. The appointment was set for one year with an option to extend on a yearly basis for two successive years. The university's business unit, Nanyang Business School (NBS) currently works with Happy Marketer for its digital duties.Moreover, other universities in Singapore have also made changes to its recent roster of agencies.Singapore Management University (SMU) appointed Havas Singapore and Havas Media Singapore as creative and media partner respectively. The appointment is for a period of three years with an option to renew for an additional year, starting from October this year.Singapore University of Technology and Design too appointed Goodfellas Consultancy and Zenith Singapore as its creative and media agencies, respectively.
